This high-profile event has been a magnet for international experts from the fields of life sciences and human technologies for many years. The event is supported by the Human.technology Styria health cluster, the SFG (Styria Science and Technology Foundation), the Graz Science Park, the ICS (International Center for Advanced Studies), the Medical University of Graz, the research company Joanneum Research, and the City of Graz.
Under the motto "Game Changers in HealthTech," the two-day conference featured pioneering topics such as "Automotive Health," "The Hospital of the Future," and "Keeping Innovation in Europe." As a satellite event, the BioNanoNet research company presented "The Next Generation of Microfluidics."
Speakers and panelists included Anton Fuchs (Virtual Vehicle), Lars Kamolz (Med Uni Graz), Lucanus Polagnoli (Calm/Storm Ventures), Silvia Russegger and Michael Ploder (Joanneum Research), Daniel Strauss (Uni Saarland), Maurice Deuss (Payer International Technologies), Sebastian Freiberger (BDO Consulting), Alejandro Huenich (DECOTO), Manfred Knye (Volkswagen AG), Mario Kreimer (Lean), Philipp Lindinger (Austromed), Tobija Glawogger (Bartelt), Iene Rutten (KU Leuven).
Gunpreet Coudert Oberoi added a special highlight to the program. Her startup SVAN won both the Audience Award and the Jury Prize in the Game Changer competition.
