The keynotes set a practical and future-oriented tone: Harpreet Singh, CEO and co-founder of Immatics, reported on his company's development and emphasized that progress rarely follows a linear path, but requires resilience and flexibility. Caroline Schober (RCPE GmbH) spoke in line with BIOTECH AUSTRIA's motto for 2025 – “Artificial vs. Agile Intelligence” – on the crucial role of the human factor for biotechnological innovation in an increasingly AI-driven era. Patrick Frei, founder and CEO of Venture Valuation, provided detailed insights into the valuation of biotech companies for financing and partnerships and concluded with a fireside discussion in which he shared his experiences in detail. The program also included high-profile panel discussions on scientific challenges and opportunities, as well as the latest trends in financing and venture capital, as well as presentations on BIOTECH AUSTRIA's initiatives on the Austrian life sciences strategy and other working groups, complemented by company presentations and startup pitches.

Additional networking events promoted exchange and partnership building, from a hike and dine through the Styrian vineyards on the eve of the conference to dinner at the Schlossberg restaurant with dancing until the early hours. With several hundred meetings booked, the 1:1 partnering sessions enabled representatives from across the biotech value chain to build partnerships and explore new business opportunities.
