BerBerSan® GmbH is a Styrian nutraceutical startup from Schladming, specializing in innovative liquid pharmacy products. Their first product, Berberstin, is the world's only liquid berberine preparation for adults who want to support their cholesterol and liver function—a bitter-sour liquid taken in the morning before breakfast and held briefly in the mouth to allow berberine absorption through the oral mucosa. Developed and manufactured in Austria, it is distributed through pharmacies and our online shop. Berberstin was founded by a trio: internist Dr. Babak Bahadori, pharmacist Dr. Agnieszka Magg, and managing director Bernhard Sikora, MSc.
