Digital Health and Care Austria

The association Digital Health and Care Austria – Innovation Platform for Intelligent Assistance in Health, Care, and Social Services – operated under the name AAL Austria until July 2025. This innovation platform is a network of stakeholders in the highly interdisciplinary field of Active & Assisted Living. Digital Health and Care Austria connects research institutions, businesses, (health) care organizations, and public institutions to disseminate AAL-related information and exchange experiences among stakeholders. In this way, a vibrant community is built, and the visibility of AAL is promoted at various levels of public awareness. AAL, or Digital Health and Care Austria, was founded in 2012 as a non-profit organization and currently has more than 100 associate members.
