Founded in 2020, EVOMEDIS is a biotechnology company based in Graz, Austria. Our goal is to shift the current paradigm of wound management towards wound healing. For this purpose we are developing a unique product: EVOCellic. EVOCellic is a cell-based wound therapy for the treatment of deep burns and chronic wounds.
EVOCellic promotes the skin's natural healing process by releasing growth factors when applied to the wound. It is an allogeneic cellular skin replacement that uses cultured skin cells from a donor that are freeze-dried and can be stored at 4 degrees Celsius so it can be used at any time. We are also developing EVOSens, a wound sensor bandage that provides clinicians with important information by displaying the pH of the wound in real-time indistinct resolution.
