Minnesota is not only the birthplace of the cardiac pacemaker, but has closed THE US MedTech hotspot developed, which includes everything from global medical technology companies and leading clinics to successful university spin-offs and innovative start-ups.

The list of well-known companies and research institutions is long and includes the University of Minnesota, Medtronic, Mayo Clinic, 3M, Abbott, Stryker, St. Jude. in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul more than 660 medical technology companies and suppliers are located, which makes the region an ideal one "Entrance port for opening up the US market" power.

The end of the business trip is a short visit to Chicago,  Diagnostics Congress AACC will take place there this year and can then be visited individually.

Costs

The participation fee of 1.200 EUR per person includes participation in the program according to the present draft, hotel accommodation (4 nights in a group hotel for approx. 225 EUR/person/night including breakfast), all catering (lunch, dinner, networking evenings), guided tours and bus transfers and comprehensive support by the foreign trade center up to and including July 22nd. Costs as of June 2022. Minor price changes are still possible due to fluctuating fees, expenses, exchange rates and fuel prices, among other things. The participation fee is settled by Human.technology Styria GmbH.

Special conditions for start-ups: participation fee of EUR 980 per person.

It is expressly stated that flight costs are NOT included in the participation fee. The above flight costs between 1.100 and 1.300 EUR depending on the source. We recommend booking through a travel agent.
