Our event opens with a lecture by the renowned industrial psychologist Paulino Jiménez (Karl Franzens Uni Graz), who underlines the effectiveness of well-structured onboarding processes and shows how they act as an essential pillar in knowledge management.

Two leading companies then give us insights into their successful onboarding strategies:

They share their experiences and show how they can not only integrate new employees effectively, but also inspire them to join the company in the long term.
TOUR AND DIALOGUE:
A highlight of the event is the tour through the Breeding houses of the Botanical Garden, which serves as a metaphor for the onboarding process.
Analogous to plant cultivation, where optimal conditions accelerate growth, well-thought-out onboarding promotes the rapid integration and increase in performance of new employees.
We apply these insights from botany to onboarding strategies that aim to shorten adaptation time and increase the productivity and performance of new team members. The final discussion delves deeper into how such onboarding specifically contributes to rapid performance development and an increase in performance.

Our impulse series “HR Circle – Impulses, Practice, Dialogue” was developed to address current and burning topics, questions and challenges in people management along the employee lifecycle and to offer valuable insights, best practices and an inspiring exchange.
