In the main exhibition Blind Date – The Maximilian and Agathe Weishaupt Collection in dialogue with the Liaunig Collection Curators Alexandra Schantl and Franziska Straubinger show geometric-constructive art in its diverse, cross-national and cross-generational forms.
The Munich collection of Maximilian and Agathe Weishaupt, owned by the couple of the same name, focuses their collection on art after 1945. While they initially mainly collected concrete-constructive positions, this view has expanded over the years so that the collection now also includes a wide range of non-objective contemporary art at home and abroad.
The project is in the sculpture depot IN A CIRCLE A SQUARE – by Meina Schellander (*1946) to experience.
The show in the triangular special exhibition room is dedicated to the Carinthian sculptor Otto Eder (1924–1982), who would have been 2024 years old in 100. Otto Eder created countless works that give him a high rank in Austrian modern art.

To the event series
Our impulse series “HR Circle – Impulses, Practice, Dialogue” was developed to address current and burning topics, questions and challenges in people management along the employee lifecycle and to offer valuable insights, best practices and an inspiring exchange.
Each event follows a tried and tested process: expert input, best practice examples and interactive group dialogue. The series takes place several times a year, always on a Wednesday at 17:00 p.m., in an unusual, thematically appropriate location.
The series of events is one CROSS CLUSTER EVENT and is carried out in cooperation with ACstyria, CINT – Club International, Creative Industries Styria, Green Tech Valley Cluster, Holzcluster Steiermark, Human Technology Styria and Silicon Alps Cluster.
