About I3HIES

Europe has long been a center of excellence for quality healthcare and continues to have the potential to be a global center for healthcare research and development.

To achieve this, a long-term, cooperative, interregional ecosystem must be built that supports and promotes R&D and stable, long-term partnerships.

The project identifies needs and challenges in key thematic areas such as genome-related issues, biomaterials and clinical trials, particularly in relation to MDR compliance.

The project aims to establish value chains and collaborations that bring together expertise in clinical testing, validation, innovation in design, materials and regulatory compliance.

It aims to improve interregional cooperation and participation in EU value chains.

This includes strengthening the regional and interregional ecosystem, benchmarking the I3HIES community and promoting policy development and collaboration.

BUSINESS IDEAS - OPEN CALL

Regional impacts

The I3HIES project supports solutions for less developed regions in the European Union. Less developed regions are regions of the European Union (NUTS 2) whose GDP per inhabitant is less than 75% of the EU average.

All business ideas must be implemented by actors or in collaboration with actors from less developed regions and should:
