The Steiermärkische Krankenanstaltengesellschaft mbH (KAGes), as the operating company of 23 state hospitals, provides the Styrian population with permanent medical and nursing care at the highest standard. This also includes specialized training and further education of the staff as well as renowned medical research. With over 17.000 employees, it is also the largest employer in Styria and an important customer for the regional industry. With the acquisition of the four Styrian nursing home centers, long-term care became another part of the core competencies of KAGes.
