Broadening horizons for established companies too
Alexander Kollreider, CTO of the Tyromotion GmbH, explains the entrepreneurial recipe for success: “In the Tyrotherapy concept, the focus of rehabilitation is on people. EDI as a booster for the entire innovation process chain
CSO Wolfram Veitl on the role of the EDI funding project, which is being handled by Human.technology Styria (HTS): "The trend is clearly pointing in the direction of state-of-the-art robotic devices not only taking on purely repetitive movement tasks, but increasingly becoming involved in the integrate the therapeutic process. Digital transformation for higher market maturity
In terms of consulting and sales, the company is very well positioned, but existing potential in the digital area was explored even better with EDI: "By using the latest digital technologies such as robotics, sensors, virtual reality or gamification, patients are treated with fun and motivation through the rehabilitation process," explain CSO Wolfram Veitl and CTO Alexander Kollreider. EDI enabled the internal innovation routines to be optimized and even better linked to quality management. Design thinking advanced to become a fixed concept component with an even higher degree of realization in terms of market maturity.
