NoTube GmbH

"We have received important input on new digital business models and want to use the improved processes to open up new target markets."

Daniela Schachner-Blazizek, Managing Director

Digitization boost from within with EDI

True innovation has to come from within, but it often requires an outside push. Mag. Daniela Schachner-Blazizek, MPA, Management NoTube GmbH: “As a member of the HTS cluster in Styria, our contact person Carina Ricko introduced us to the 'Enabling Digital Innovation' program. It was a good opportunity to rethink and optimize internal processes in order to be able to better implement our mission.” NoTube already offers digital programs, but there was still room for improvement in the area of digitizing internal processes. The goals were, for example, “digital process optimization, development of new digital services and cybersecurity.”

Problem areas analyzed and solved

“Because we work with digital health data, cybersecurity is extremely important to us. This is very agile and we therefore always have to stay up to date with the latest technology and adapt our protective measures," says the management, highlighting one of the major challenges. Furthermore, with digital business models it is necessary to constantly develop further and remain innovative: “Here we wanted to set new impulses and get input from outside. Especially when it comes to training employees in digitization and in the areas mentioned above!”

Goals achieved thanks to EDI

Daniela Schachner-Blazizek explains: "Since the start of the project on June 1, 2021, NoTube has developed successfully, among other things through process improvements. Specifically, that despite ongoing challenges from COVID-19 travel restrictions affecting around 50% of NoTube's revenue, revenue grew 10% year-on-year.” This can be attributed in part to this project NoTube helped initiate during the global COVID-19 pandemic simply did not have the financial strength and security.

New target groups better developed

Sonja Veidinger, MA, Head of Marketing, adds: “In addition, NoTube is sharpening its online profile with a new website that has already been launched and will be fully conversion-optimized. After all, NoTube has benefited greatly from the increasing automation of its processes, which means that NoTube employees can spend more time with potential customers and further improve conversion rates significantly!” The project was handled between HTS and NoTube through personal discussions with needs assessment and interviews at the beginning – then regular contact.

New business models for future growth

NoTube has positioned itself well for the next few years with EDI, the management is pleased: "We have received important input on new digital business models that we want to develop in the coming years. Furthermore, thanks to improved processes, we want to open up new target markets and thus grow. Regular external input and critical reflection on the company and its processes are very valuable in order to keep initiating new phases of growth.” The background: product life cycles are becoming ever shorter, which means that the need for continuous training in the area of digitization and the pressure to innovate is increasing. All in all another successful EDI project in Styria.
