The PAYER Group celebrated its 80th anniversary at its company headquarters in St. Bartholomä. The company welcomed high-ranking international guests from politics, business, and education, as well as long-standing partners and associates, to the official ceremony.

Human.technology Styria honors business ideas from Styrian HTL students.
This year, the “Start!Up School Life Science” business plan competition took place for the 19th time. This year, the most innovative business ideas from Styrian HTL students in the key topics of “Health & Sustainability” were again chosen. In addition to the HTL Weiz, the HTL BULME Deutschlandsberg and the HTL Kaindorf were able to convince the expert jury with their projects.

First BIOTECH SUMMIT AUSTRIA paves the way for emerging biotech innovation in Central Europe
A historic event for the Austrian and international biotechnology community took place on October 13.10th. 2023 the 1st BIOTECH SUMMIT AUSTRIA in Graz comes to an end after two days of content-rich discussions and networking.
The event, which was jointly organized by BIOTECH AUSTRIA, the pioneering association of the biotechnology industry in Austria, and the dynamic Styrian life science cluster organization Human.technology Styria, left a lasting impression on the industry.

Visit from Trieste: students looking for internships
On September 7th and 8th, a whole year of Italian students (40 people) from the ITS Academy Volta from Trieste will visit us.
They are interested in exciting projects and possible internships in the fields of biomedical engineering and health IT from mid-February to the end of June 2024 (750 hours).
The company only has to sign an internship agreement and appoint a tutor; insurance is provided by ITS Volta and there are no additional costs (although some financial support is encouraged for students).
Splendid premiere for Cluster Connections
A warm summer evening was the perfect setting for the premiere of “Cluster Connections”, the new networking format of the Human Technology Cluster.
The host was JOANNEUM RESEARCH on Leonhardstraße in Graz, and HTS boss Lejla Pock and JR CEO Heinz Mayer moderated an entertaining program before the cluster community devoted itself entirely to personal exchange.
