Human.technology Styria and Biotech Austria jointly set up the “1. Biotech Summit Austria”. The premiere for the first major event involving this cutting-edge technology is on October 12th and 13th in the auditorium of the Med Uni Graz.

Visit from Trieste: students looking for internships

On September 7th and 8th, a whole year of Italian students (40 people) from the ITS Academy Volta from Trieste will visit us.
They are interested in exciting projects and possible internships in the fields of biomedical engineering and health IT from mid-February to the end of June 2024 (750 hours).

The company only has to sign an internship agreement and appoint a tutor; insurance is provided by ITS Volta and there are no additional costs (although some financial support is encouraged for students).

Splendid premiere for Cluster Connections

A warm summer evening was the perfect setting for the premiere of "Cluster Connections", the new networking format of the human technology cluster.
The host was JOANNEUM RESEARCH on Leonhardstraße in Graz, and HTS boss Lejla Pock and JR CEO Heinz Mayer moderated an entertaining program before the cluster community devoted itself entirely to personal exchange.

Human.technology Styria honors business ideas from Styrian HTL students

The “Start!Up School” business plan competition took place for the 18th time this year. The most innovative business ideas from Styrian HTL students were chosen again this year, for the second time in the main topics "Health & Sustainability". In addition to the HTL Weiz, the BULME Graz-Gösting and the HTL BULME Deutschlandsberg were able to convince the expert jury of their projects.

These impressive resources inspired us as a human technology cluster to take a closer look at the field of microfluidics and highlight the leading microfluidics experts in Styria.

Haus Esther was opened in June 2022 in cooperation with the Geriatric Health Centers of the City of Graz (GGZ) and Human.technology Styria GmbH as a center for age-appropriate assistance systems with a showroom for assistive technologies to try out.
